Sources and licences
Every remedy Remedius describes comes from the books and the repertory below. Each remedy card names the book it came from and, for Boericke, the printed pages.
Boericke's Materia Medica (1927)
William Boericke, Pocket Manual of Homoeopathic Materia Medica, 9th edition, 1927. Public domain. Our main source for each remedy's description. The pages are cited on each remedy card.
Clarke's Dictionary (1900–1902)
John Henry Clarke, A Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica, 1900–1902. Public domain. Used only for remedies Boericke does not describe.
O. E. Boericke's Repertory (1927)
Oscar E. Boericke, the repertory printed in the same 1927 volume as Boericke's Materia Medica. Public domain. Used for lists of remedies by condition.
Repertorium Publicum v0.5 (2008)
Repertorium Publicum v0.5, © 2008 Vladimir Polony, derived from J. T. Kent's Repertory of the Homoeopathic Materia Medica (1897). Obtained through OOREP (oorep.com; github.com/nondeterministic/oorep), where the original data is published.
It is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 3 (full text at gnu.org), and is provided without any warranty.
How Remedius changed it (2026): we matched its remedy names to our remedy list, wrote a plain-English label for each rubric from Kent's own wording, and indexed the rubrics and labels so the ones that fit a description can be found. The rubrics and their remedy grades are otherwise as published.
How the books were prepared
The book text comes from scans of the printed editions. We corrected words the scan misread and split each entry into sections. We did not otherwise change the authors' words.
